Description
 

Niax Silicone L-5639 is a lower VOC, non-hydrolyzable, mechanical froth surfactant that offers high closed cell content, as well as reduction of both froth density and shear induced cell collapse.

Key Features and Typical Benefits

 

  • Stabilization of mechanically frothed foam via:

   -  Reduced froth density (< 27 pcf)

   -  Reduced shear-induced cell collapse under doctor blade

   -  Reduced bubble coalescence in oven cure conditions

   -  Fine, microporous cell structure

  • Lower VOC content compared to Niax silicone L-5614

  • Increased closed-cell content compared to Niax silicone L-5614 and Niax silicone L-5617

  • Non hydrolyze-ability
